How to add photos to my instruments
In BandFriend 2.0 and later you can tag your instruments in the photos you post via status updates. To do this, make sure you already have added the instrument you want to post a photo for. The procedure is as follows: Open the ‘Activity’ section and proceed with posting a photo. After taking or picking a photo, you will see this photo as a thumbnail image on the right side. Tap on it which brings you to a new screen where you can edit this photo. At the bottom bar you’ll see an instrument icon. Tap on that icon and you’ll be presented a list of your instruments. Now, simply select/tag your instruments that should be associated with the photo. Now you can return to the status update and once you are done with it, you can send it off via ‘Post’. If you now look at your instrument, you’ll notice a new ‘Photos’ section. Tap on it to see all associated photos for this instrument.
Why am I not receiving an account activation e-mail?
Most likely you do receive the confirmation e-mail, however in a few cases the e-mail might have been classified as spam by your mail application or mail server. Please check your spam folder first before contacting us, most likely you’ll find it there. To avoid further mail reception issues, please add the bandfriendapp.com domain to the list of safe senders in your mail application.
I am unable to see my SoundCloud tracks?
If you own a SoundCloud account and you are sure that there are public tracks available, you might have entered an incorrect SoundCloud ID. The confusion comes from the fact that if you sign up and select a name like ‘lennon’, the name might have been used already and you are assigned something like ‘lennon-364’ instead. You can find the correct ID pretty easily if you log on to your SoundCloud account in the browser and open your profile. Your SoundCloud ID is typically the last part of the URL displayed in the address field. This for example looks like this in your browser
